Hello, valued members of The Venture Bros. Shirt-of-the-Week-Club…
Some of you are wondering: “Where are my shirts?”
The short answer is: “Your shirts will start shipping super-soon.”
As you know, Shirt Club shirts are printed to order—meaning we don’t make a bunch of them ahead of…
NEWS: Doc and Jackson will not be attending Dragon*Con this year.
But James Urbaniak confirmed that he will be at Dragon*Con.
These things seem to take longer and longer as time goes by, but the capsule, notes and screengrabs for “What Color Is Your Cleansuit?” are finally up. Regulars of the site (or anyone who has viewed an episode guide before) will notice a difference in the layout. The notes are now inline with the capsule, which I hope will make things a little more coherent. Not that there were complaints about it before, but sometimes you gotta spice things up in a relationship that’s going on nine years now.
Feel free to drop any thoughts on the new format in the comments or you can always use the handy contact form if you’re shy. Also, as is the custom, let me know if there’s anything I left out or made a mistake on, because I’m sure there’s a bunch of stuff. If I use them, additional notes will always be credited, and if you have a user account you’ll even get a sweet achievement for it. You know you want it.
For those curious, the possibly inaccurate episodes airing after the premiere episode, “What Color Is Your Cleansuit?” are as follows:

In this episode, Ken Plume has another chat with Venture Bros. creator Jackson Publick, about muumuus, shirts, George Lucas, interns, arcs, and founding fathers.
Way back in February the first volume of the Journal of Venture Studies was released, and now volume two is ready for your consumption! This one includes five scholarly articles ranging from thoughts on how HELPeR might work to how the show handles sexuality and much more. There’s also an excellent piece written by Mantis-Eye regular ZJS called “In Defense of Hatred” that I highly recommend. Enjoy volume two!
